I got a reasonably large and spotless room with the beautifully painted ceiling. I thoroughly enjoyed an amazing breakfast. The staff was amazingly great throughout the day. The location was stunning and great for Bigogno, just off Lugano and the lake, Bigogno-way above Lugano, on the Collina del'Oro, behind Monte San Salvatore and Switzerland near Lugano: )

It was more like home, in the sense that it was friendly & kind environment. Excellent Breakfast, quite place & friendly people.
1. No information about how to get to the hotel was provided. 2. hotel location from the city center was incorrectly provided on web, it's a 8.5 Km instead of 4.7 km as what was mentioned, taxi driver is a witness ( i have his number) it costed me the same price of the room rate to get there. This hotel is located in the country side of Lugano, close to Montagnola. The room is nice in the antique style. The stuff was friendly and kind. The food was excellent.
The payment for the dinner was not clear. They did not provide prices item by item. It was a bit cold in the guestroom.

the nice little typical restaurant & cosy terrace allowed us to enjoy the serene setting. We could discover the area with ease by hopping onto the bus stop right outside of the place. the staff was warm and friendly, and the free breakfast was fresh and really tasty. We had no issues with the clean room and comfortable bathroom.
That the lack of a defined & signed reception left us unsure about where to go.

We had a great stay at this charming family-run hotel. The staff were warm, cute, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The rooms were nicely decorated, very clean and had comfortable beds and pillows. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful forest behind the hotel and the serene setting on top of a hill overlooking Lugano. Despite the hotel being located in the suburbs, it was easily accessible via a bus stop right outside the hotel. The free breakfast was simple but really fresh and tasty, with fresh bread, cold cuts, and cheese. The strong coffee was a great addition to start the day.
Hard to think of anything.
